DEPCOM Begins Construction on 22 Megawatt Solar Facility for Platte River Power Authority’s Rawhide Prairie Solar Plant

Scottsdale, AZ – November 21, 2019

DEPCOM Power announced it has commenced construction for Platte River Power Authority’s (PRPA) latest 22 megawatt Rawhide Prairie Solar facility in Wellington, Colorado.

Part of PRPA’s Rawhide Energy Station, the plant will feature the station’s first battery storage technology. The plant is expected to be complete and generating clean, solar energy to the local grid by July 2020.
