DEPCOM Encourages BLM to Open More Public Lands for Utility Solar

Washington D.C. – Tuesday, April 30, 2019

DEPCOM Power proudly represented the utility solar industry today in Washington, educating the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on the efficiency and low-cost economics of utility solar in America.

DEPCOM CEO, Jim Lamon, presented a compelling testimony to House legislators, detailing the extensive permit delays and inefficient bureaucratic processes that hinder the development of utility solar on public lands; lands that could be used to generate clean solar energy, American jobs, provide significant revenue for our state, local and federal programs and help pay down our nation’s crippling budget deficit.
